How to Safely Dispose of a Motorcycle (The Responsible Way)
When a motorcycle reaches the end of its road life, figuring out what to do with it isn’t always straightforward. Whether your bike is damaged, unregistered, no longer roadworthy, or simply gathering dust in the garage, disposing of it the right way is important—for your safety, your wallet, and the environment.

Payment
We pay up to $200 for a complete running Motorcycles and up to $100 for a complete non-running Motorcycles. We will happily dispose of wrecked, crashed, unfinished projects, basket cases FREE of charge if we can see sufficient parts or scrap value.
We are flexible and can work around your work and family life to find a mutually agreeable time for collection, we can collect after hours and on the weekend as well. We do reserve the right not to buy a Motorcycle.
We don’t buy scooters but will consider them on a case-by-case basis for collection. We do not take Chinese bikes, Scooters or pit bikes.
We service Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast collecting motorcycles.
Collection Process
The collection process is quite simple
Step 1: Prepare the Motorcycle for Disposal
Before handing your bike over to anyone, take a few important steps:
Remove Personal Items
Check storage compartments, saddlebags, and under-seat areas for documents, keys, or personal gear.
Cancel Registration (If Applicable)
If the bike is still registered, contact your local transport authority to cancel registration and, if eligible, claim a refund on remaining registration or CTP.
Have Proof of Ownership Ready
Most wreckers or recyclers will ask for:
- Photo ID
- Proof of ownership or purchase
- The VIN or frame number
This helps prevent theft and ensures the bike is disposed of legally.
Step 2: Enter Collection Details
Enter your details in the form below or you can call or email us to let us know what motorcycle you have. We require the make, model, year of manufacture and the VIN number** of the motorcycle.
2. We will call or send a SMS message to you to confirm a collection date and time.
3. We come out and pick up the Motorcycle
** The VIN number is a 17 digit unique identifier assigned to a motorcycle by the manufacturer, we require a this number so we can complete a PPSR ( Personal Property Securities Register) check on the VIN \ Frame number to confirm that it is not encumbered or stolen. The VIN plate is usually located on the head stem or on the front right or left hand side of the frame.
